Blog#4 -free write

This past summer my best friend Named Miranda and I had to privilege to go on a trip together. We were fortunate that we got to fly for free because, her dad works for the American Airlines and my dad is internationally in charge of the company he works for. My dad travels every week and gets miles which all add up and give us the option for free flights. This wasn’t our first time traveling together we have gone to various amount of states by the advantage we have by our dad’s jobs.

This summer we went to Chicago, Illinois. My whole family lives there and Miranda’s dad lives there also. We made a weekly trip out of our visit. First, we went to visit her dad for 4 days and when he picked us up he told us he had a surprise for us the next day. We were so anxious and exhausted from our flight that we went to bed so we could find out what the surprise was the next morning. We woke up and there were concert tickets to our favorite country artist that we have seen perform together many times. It was Luke Bryan tickets for the Summer Festival in Milwaukee, Wisconsin which was an hour and a half way from his house. We packed up our bags and went on a road trip and stayed in a hotel. The Summer fest was such an amazing experience It was my first time being at a concert in another state. I’ve been to many concerts in my life .  I have never seen anything like it. There were stages every corner you turned with hundreds of people of all races and different cultures. Everyone could tell that we were not from that part of town because, we had on our Kendra Scott jewelry, our cowgirl boots on, and of course our Texas accent. 

The concert was such an amazing experience. The whole crowd was standing and dancing and no was judging anyone everyone was having the time of their lives. I thought it was so interesting because, the number of concerts I have attended I have never been to a concert with the whole crowd standing and dancing not caring what others think.

Next, we went to my aunt’s house to see my aunt, uncle, cousins, and my Grandma who isn’t doing very good on health. She wasn’t able to attend my graduation which she has devastated about because she made both of my brothers but the position she is in right now unfortunately she didn’t have a choice to come. My aunt and dad were devastated about the situation because, we know how bad my grandma wanted to be there for me so we made a mutual agreement to me going up there and she her which the whole trip worked out perfectly we were able to see Miranda’s dad and my grandma.
